Ok, while I think LeBron James was a trickbitch for waiting til the last damn minute to tell the Cavs and their fans he was leaving, I have to say that I hate the way that these fans are putting all the blame on LeBron.
What about all the years that LeBron was in that town and the Cavs signed no one better that Mo Williams and Shaq?
Yes I know Shaq is very popular but there is a reason why he changes teams alot.
LeBron needs to raise the level of his brand internationally if he’s going to keep up with the likes of the redeemed and championship collecting Kobe Bryant and the best way for him to do that was to go and form a “Super Team” with no bench down in Miami.
Cavs ownership was very committed to selling tickets but in no way committed to building a winning team for it’s fans or to keep LeBron. They simply thought he’s feel too loyal and too guilty about leaving. They were wrong.
Lebron doesn’t care about being the “Next Jordan” in the same way that Kobe does. He cares that every damn year Nike trots out those commercials with the puppets and for the last two years, Kobe Puppet keeps winning little puppet rings and he gets to just be satisfied with knowing Cleveland loves him.
Screw you Cleveland, I want a Championship YESTERDAY! I also want to hang out in this beautiful city with all these hot ass mostly nekkid gold diggin beach bitches too. Can you give me beach bitches, Cleveland? No? Well Dwayne Wade’s fragile ass can so I’m gonna play down there and pretend that I just made my mind up when all the cameras got turned on.
The issue of LeBron’s legacy is some “Back in the day we did it differently” type shit. As long as LeBron has no championship, he has the same legacy as Charles Barkley and Patrick Ewing. Great players who can give us awesome perspective about what it’s like to have the balls of a world champion all up in your face during the playoff and finals.
I call bullshit on that legacy, bullshit on LeBron for being a trickbitch (yeah I know, but there is a middle ground) and bullshit on Cleveland’s fans for bot forcing Cavs ownership to surround King James with a Round Table that could win a damn title.
